As many of you know, I love to visit small-towns and I’ve taken what I like best about them and used it as inspiration for my book series’ fictional town of Larkin Bay.

I decided a few weeks ago to share pictures of some of the towns I love on Instagram.

When I told my husband about this, he was supportive and last weekend he suggested we spend a day together visiting a local small-town. He told me we could wander around, see all the sites and take some pictures for my Instagram account.

So we did. It was a lovely afternoon.

We visited two bakeries, bought out a fresh produce stand, and then just strolled around town taking in the sights and spending time together.

Toward the end of the day, my husband picked the next place to stop.

And drove us to a vineyard.

Yep, a winery.

My husband really likes good wine and the flight we sampled at Thirty Bench in the Niagara area (along with a charcuterie board) was excellent.

It was a nice finish to the day.

But it also got me wondering.

Did my husband suggest driving out to Niagara to help me gather Instagram content or for the wine?

Both?

Let’s go with that.

Oh, and you can see all the pictures on my Instagram account starting September 11th, here.

Cheers!
