I hope the Easter bunny brought you lots of chocolate.

Or if he didn’t, I hope you’ve had time to go to the grocery store and buy up the stuff that’s been marked down.

Yum.

For Easter this year I’m in Vancouver visiting my daughter and supposedly getting some writing done.

Do you want to know how that’s going?

Well, it’s been WONDERFUL seeing my daughter and her boyfriend.

But, as for the writing?

Uh, well, that’s been going just okay.

I’ve actually not been doing as much writing as I would have liked as I’ve been editing, getting on top of my social media and making a plan for the next eighteen months of my writing career.

I’m not sure this has all been a good use of my time.

Oh, well.

I still have two weeks left here, so I’m hoping things will start coming together so I can get more words on the page next week.

I’ll let you know how that goes.

Another piece of good news I have is that I’ve had a beautiful place to stay while I’ve been writing procrastinating. I’m on the twenty-third floor of a condominium that overlooks downtown Vancouver.

I have an office, a kitchen, a large TV, strong WIFI and a soft bed with a fabulous view.

It should be the perfect place to write.

And it will be, starting Tuesday. I promise.

Another piece of good news from here is that I just got back an entire set of detailed content edits from a very nice editor for Anna’s List. This means I’m getting even closer to publishing.

This is equal parts exciting and terrifying.

Yay me!

And finally, yes, it’s Easter.

So, I want to wish a Happy Easter to all who celebrate.

Life is good.

Enjoy it.

And don’t forget to buy Easter chocolate.

Lots of it.
