Yesterday my best friend and I did a day trip to Niagara Falls.

Yes, it was -9 C (16 F), but that felt almost balmy compared to the -19 C (-3 F) it’s been here all week.
To say it was beautiful is an understatement. I couldn’t stay out long gazing at it because it was REALLY cold, but to see it and get this picture was worth being chilly for a few minutes.
And, you know what? You don’t really feel the cold that much when the freezing spray of this wonder is stunning both your heart and eyes.
You really don’t.
Scadding Cabin is a 1794 log cabin in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It was built by John Scadding and is the oldest known surviving house in Toronto. It’s tiny and it needs to have its story told.
